Offense sparks late in losses to Bethany

Box Score Bethany, WV.  (9/13/14) – The Chatham University volleyball team continued to show offensive growth while facing Bethany College today. The Cougars fought hard despite losing 25-7, 25-6, 25-11.
 
Senior Brittany DeMeno (Freeport, Pa.) led all Cougars with 3 kills, while First year Iman Morgan (Sharon, Pa.) recorded 2 kills and 1 block for Chatham.
 
First year McKenna Gamble was all over the court today, with 5 assists against Bethany College, first year Ava Iulluci  also had an assist.
 
Multiple Cougars racked up digs today with sophomore Heathir McIntyre (Ashburn, Va.) earning 7, first year Aminata Dieng ( Dakar, Senegal) earning 3, senior Brittany DeMeno (Freeport, Pa.) with 2, and sophomore Joelle Notkin (Pittsburgh, Pa.), first year McKenna Gamble (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and first year Ava Iulluci nabbing 1 each.
 
The women's volleyball team is set to host Penn State- Greater Allegheny on September 15 at 7:00 p.m.

Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is a member of the President's Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers eight Division III women's sports and six men's sports. Chatham will add six new men's sports in the 2015-2016 academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field, and volleyball.
