Box Score Owing Mills, Md. – (11/8/2014) – The Chatham University hockey team recorded their first loss of the season, losing to Stevenson University. The Mustangs held Chatham scoreless in regulation, dropping the Cougars record to 2-1 on the season.
Cougars that recorded three shots on goal today included sophomore forward
Jenny Jones (Kemersville, NC.), first year defender
Kasandra Petersen (Faribault, MN) and junior forward
Katrina Hawkins (Powell River, BC).
First year forward
Cassidy Colhoun (Kincordine, ON) earned two shots on goal, and sophomore forward
Erika Martin had one shot. The Cougars took three shots on two power-play opportunities against Stevenson, but failed to score.
First year goaltender
Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, ON) went 5 for 13 through the first two periods. Senior goaltender
Megan Buchanan (Stittsville, Ont.) faced 19 shots in relief from the Mustangs. Jones went 6 for 12 on face-offs won, while Martin went 6 for 21.
Chatham will next visit Plattsburgh State on Friday November 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.
