Box Score New Wilmington, Pa. – (11/1/2014) – The Chatham University soccer team played their final game today ending their season against President Athletic Conference foe Westminster falling 1-9. The Cougars would finish (3-15, 0-9 PAC) during the 2014 season.
Senior goalkeeper
Liz Sawyer (Saco, Me.) went seven for eleven on the day, but in the first period gave up four goals to three different Griffin opponents. Sawyer would led the PAC in saves with 164. When play resumed in the second period, Westminster would find the net two more times before first-year midfielder
Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa.) found the back of the Griffin net for the only Chatham goal this afternoon (77:00). Sieg finished the season with an astounding 12 goals.
Sophomore defender
Jessica Manfredi (Jefferson Hills, Pa.) came in for Sawyer with (14:28) left on the clock, and went two for four. Sieg would be the only Cougar with a shot on goal today, finishing the season with a team high 63 shots on goal.
