Box Score Waynesburg, Pa. – (10/8/2014) –  The Chatham University soccer team lost on the road tonight at Waynesburg University 5-0. Shots on goal were difficult to find on this chilly night at John F. Wiley Stadium.
 
Senior goalkeeper Liz Sawyer (Saco, Me.) made five saves on ten shots, but the Waynesburg offense proved extremely potent against always strong Sawyer. Aggressive presses by Chatham into the Yellow jacket end of the field were met with tough defense throughout the game.
 
Cougars with shots on goal tonight included first year midfielder Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa.) with two, and junior midfielder Auralia Henderson (Palmyra, Pa.) taking one. Chatham looks to regroup after this loss by improving the teams on field communication, which has aided the Cougars in recent wins.
 
Chatham will host nationally ranked Thomas More College on Saturday October 11th at 1:00 p.m. at Varsity Field.
