Box Score Pittsburgh, PA – The Chatham University women's soccer team opened up PAC competition on Saturday, hosting the Bearcats of St. Vincent College at Varsity Field. The Cougars battled through the difficult weather conditions, eventually falling 2-0.
Senior Goalkeeper
Liz Sawyer tallied 11 saves on 13 shots in the loss. After yesterday's game, Sawyer now has a total of 97 saves on the season, ranking in the top 15 of NCAA Division III.

Sarah Ellis both had two shots on goal. Despite several deep pushes into the St. Vincent defense, Chatham could not find the back of the net. The Cougars had one of their best opportunities to score with first year forward
Megan Sieg's shot in the 58th minute of the second half.
Chatham soccer will continue PAC play when they travel to Waynesburg on Wednesday, October 8th.
