Box Score Washington, PA – The Chatham University women's volleyball team traveled to Washington and Jefferson College on Thursday evening for a match against the Presidents. Despite their strong defense throughout the match, the Cougars would fall 0-3 in straight sets.
Senior middle hitter
Aminata Dieng (Dakar, Senegal) recorded three kills and five digs. First year middle hitter
Iman Morgan (Sharon, PA) also helped out with two kills.
The Cougar defense picked up the slack as four players registered five or more digs on the day. Junior libero Jessica "Hunter" Milroy (Doylestown, PA) lead the way with nine digs, while sophomore outside hitter
Heathir McIntyre (Ashburn, VA) had eight. First year setter
McKenna Gamble (Pittsburgh, PA) also chipped in with five.
Chatham women's volleyball will continue PAC play on Saturday, October 18 when they host St. Vincent's College at noon. A special Senior Day ceremony will precede the match, as the Cougars will be honoring the three seniors on the team,
Aminata Dieng,
Brittany DeMeno, and
Margery Deane.
