Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA – Three first half goals by La Roche College led the Redhawks to a 4-1 victory over Chatham University in soccer action on Tuesday. Chatham falls to 0-2 on the young season, while La Roche is now 1-0.
Lindsey McKay dominated the first half for La Roche, recording a hat-trick with goals at the 4:30, 11:16, and 24:54 marks.
Erin Barefoot made it 4-0 La Roche with a goal at 68:25.
Ashley Lamb got the Cougars on the board at the 81:55 mark with a goal off a free kick from teammate
Sarah Ellis. Lamb and Ellis each recorded one shot on goal for Chatham.
Sarah Jugovic had a shot on goal and
Skylar Benjamin tallied one shot. Goalkeeper
Liz Sawyer made seven saves.
Chatham returns to action on Saturday, September 7 when they host Penn State-Greater Allegheny. Game time is set for 1:00pm
