Chatham Falls to SUNY Potsdam, 3-0

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA- The Chatham University Ice Hockey team fell to 3-17-0 on regular season with a 3-0 loss to SUNY Potsdam (8-11-2, ECAC-West 4-7-1) on Saturday night at the Shadyside Academy Arena. The Bears outshot the Cougars 36-13 to secure the win. 

For the Cougar defense, goaltenderMegan Buchanan (So., Ottawa, ONT/Rideau St. Lawrence) recorded 33 saves on 36 shots. 

For the Cougar offense, Erika Bronk (Fy., Fairport, NY/Rochester Edge) led with five shots. Brittany Yoisten (So., Coldwater Ontario/Aurora Panthers) ,Katrina Hawkins (Fy., Powell River, BC/North Island Extreme) , and Morgan Becer (Jr., Ligonier, PA/Team Pittsburgh) each added two shots. 

Sally Mooney and Alexandra Holowka scored for SUNY Potsdam. 

The Cougars face off against the Bears in a rematch Sunday, February 3 at the Shadyside Academy Arena. Game time is set for 1:00pm.
