Chatham Ice Hockey Falls to Elmira 5-0

FOX CHAPEL, PA – The Chatham University Ice Hockey team fell 5-0 to Elmira College, the defending NCAA Division III national champions, on Saturday. Chatham moves to 2-5-2 overall and 2-3-0 in ECAC-West play. Elmira improves to 7-2-1 overall (5-0-0 ECAC-West).

McKenna Farole and Ashley Ryan each scored two goals for Elmira. Ashton Hogan scored the other.

Morgan Becer led Chatham with four shots, while Brittany Yoisten recorded three. Elmira out-shot Chatham 47-14 for the game. Megan Buchanan made 42 saves in net for the Cougars.

These two teams play again tomorrow, December 8, at 4:00pm at the Roy McKnight Hockey Center.
