Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA – La Roche College scored 48 first half points en route to an 82-42 victory over Chatham University on Sunday in non-conference action.
Emily Schmidt led the Cougars (1-5) with 14 points on 6-12 shooting from the field.
Rachel McClain scored eight points and
Anna Shashura tallied seven points and a team-high five assists. Shashura and
Jesse Hinkle each grabbed five rebounds.
La Roche (5-0) was led by Casie Cygan, who scored 28 points on 13-19 shooting. Mackenzie O'Donnell tallied 23 and grabbed 10 rebounds. Danasha Harris had a game-high 19 rebounds.
Chatham shot 16-48 (33.3%) from the floor and drained two three pointers. They connected on 8-15 attempts from the free throw line and tallied 13 total assists.
Chatham returns to action on Wednesday, December 4 when they begin Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play at Saint Vincent College. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
