Mareija Bibbs nailed 11 kills, but the Chatham University Volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Washington & Jefferson College on Tuesday. W&J won by scores of 25-12, 26-24, 25-19. Chatham recognized their two seniors, Bibbs and
Maria Bagnato before the match.
Bagnato had eight digs and one service ace, and Bibbs added four digs and one block.
Heathir McIntyre tallied four kills, two aces, and a team-high 12 digs.
Arisa Tanimoto led the Cougars with 13 assists and three service aces.
Chatham falls to 0-24 on the season and 0-14 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play. W&J improves to 12-9 overall and 4-9 in the PAC.
Chatham returns to action on Saturday, October 26, when they travel to PAC foe Thiel College. Match time is set for 1:00pm.
