Saint Vincent Takes Down Chatham 3-0

LATROBE, PA- The Chatham University Volleyball team (0-14, 0-8 PAC) fell 3-0 to Saint Vincent College (6-8, 1-4 PAC) on Tuesday night. The Cougars were defeated by scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-4.

“Despite having a different line-up on the court tonight, we played well,” said Head Coach Marc Eberle. “We were able to take some positives out of tonight's match and we will continue to work harder and get stronger in different areas of our game.”

For the Cougars, Mareija Bibbs (Jr., Chesapeake, VA/Peninsula Catholic) and Angelina Liberi (Jr., Mt. Lebanon, PA/Mt. Lebanon) led the team with three kills each. Liberi added eight digs and one block for the night. Maria Bagnato (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/Vincentian Academy) and Molly Farmer (Jr., Oakmont, PA/CCAC) contributed five digs each.

The Cougars are on the road again on Saturday, September 29 for a tri-match against Thiel College (12:00 pm) and Westminster College (2:00 pm).
