Volleyball Loses to Geneva College, 3-0

BEAVER FALLS, PA- The Chatham Volleyball team (0-20, 0-12 PAC) lost in three straight sets to Geneva College (17-7, 8-3 PAC) on Tuesday night. The Cougars fell by close scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-16. Chatham remains winless, but is confident they will steal wins as the season moves to an end.

“We haven't found a way to finish a match, “said Head Coach Marc Eberle. “We had leads, but didn't capitalize on those opportunities to pull out a win.”

For the Cougars, Mareija Bibbs (Jr., Chesapeake, VA/Peninsula Catholic) recorded nine kills. Molly Farmer (Jr., Oakmont, PA/CCAC) added four kills. Julianne Speeney (Sr., Connellsville, PA/Geibel Catholic) contributed eight digs and 16 assists. Ally Ratliff (Sr., Johnstown, PA/Ferndale Area) and Erin Smith (So., Allison Park, PA/Shaler) finished with six digs.

The Cougars return home Thursday, October 11 against Thomas More College. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.
