Chatham Falls in Season Finale 3-1

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Chatham University volleyball team wrapped up their 2012 season with a 3-1 loss to cross-town rival Carlow University on Tuesday. The Cougars fell by scores of 15-25, 25-17, 14-25, 21-25. Chatham finishes the season with an 0-29 record. Carlow improves to 21-14.

Mareija Bibbs (Jr., Chesapeake, VA/Peninsula Catholic) led the Cougar offense with 12 kills, while Molly Farmer (Jr., Oakmont, PA/CCAC) added eight. Julianne Speeney (Sr., Connellsville, PA/Geibel Catholic) recorded 20 assists, pushing her over the 400 assist mark for the season (406 total).

Farmer led Chatham with 11 digs, while Bibbs and Erin Smith (So., Allison Park, PA/Shaler) each recorded nine.
