Chatham Soccer Falls to Westminster 3-0

PITTSBURGH, PA- The Chatham University Soccer Team (2-9, 0-7 PAC) fell 3-0 on their senior night to Westminster College (5-7-5, 1-3-3 PAC). The Titans out-shot the Cougars 25-9 to secure the win.

Prior to kickoff, the Chatham community celebrated the commitment and contributions of seniors, Alison Taverna (Sr., Medway, MA/Medway) , Ashley Lamb (Sr., Sterling, VA/Potomac Falls) , and Elise Zavadak (Sr., New Kensington, PA/Valley) .

For the Cougars, Claire Geraghty (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/Oakland Catholic) recorded six shots on goal, Taylor Ohm (So., Elizabeth, PA/Elizabeth Forward) added two shots on goal, and Sarah Ellis (So., Lawrence, PA/Canon McMillan) finished the game with one shot on goal. Goal Keeper Liz Sawyer (So., Saco, ME/Thornton) contributed 12 saves.

Next up, the Cougars are on the road Wednesday, October 24 against Geneva College. Kickoff is set for 5:00 pm.
