GROVE CITY, PA – The Chatham University soccer team fell to 2-10 overall (0-6 PAC) with a 5-0 defeat at Grove City College on Tuesday. The Wolverines out-shot Chatham 40-1 en route to improving to 11-2-1 overall (4-2 PAC).
Ashley Lamb (Jr., Sterling, VA/Potomac Falls) recorded the lone shot on goal for the Cougars.
Liz Sawyer (So., Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) had 15 saves in goal.
Abby Mathes started off the scoring for Grove City in the sixth minute with an unassisted goal. Becky McManus recorded two goals, while Kristin Thomas and Sarah Flenniken each netted one.
Chatham will return to action Friday, October 19, when they host PAC foe Westminster College at 4:00pm.
