The Program
Chatham enters their 9th year of NCAA competition in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference during the 2015 season. During the 2013 season, team captain and senior, Mareija Bibbs led the Cougars and was named to the PAC Honorable Mention team. International student-athletes from Japan and Senegal provided the program with diverse skills and a global focus.  Other team highlights include a 2012 team trip to Chicago for a tournament at the University of Chicago, an annual Breast Cancer Awareness event that supports local breast cancer charities, and multiple student-athletes named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll.   Providing a free clinic at a local YMCA is a way that the volleyball team has been able to give back to the community and work to become more well-rounded individuals.

The 2015 Chatham Cougars look to add talent and depth to the court this season, adding six new players who will accompany the four returning student-athletes. The team plans to continue building confidence, strength, and chemistry by leaning on veteran players while gaining an immediate impact from the incoming class.

The search for successful women and men that display the work ethic needed to build a strong NCAA Division III volleyball program will continue throughout the 2015-2016 season.  We are looking for student-athletes who have the drive to be dedicated the sport, with a focus on developing the skills needed to be successful students and athletes.  We encourage you to contact us if you believe you can succeed in this type of environment.
