This week's Cougar Athlete of the week is Sophomore Marissa Janiga (East Aurora, N.Y. / Buffalo Stars) , who stepped into the goal after starting Cougar’s goaltender Sydney Isbell went out with an injury against Plattsburgh State. A Sophomore Forward from East Aurora, New York, Janiga stopped an impressive 13 of 14 shots in the 3rd period. The Cougars will play their next 10 games on the road and will return home to play SUNY Oswego on January 15th.
