Matthew Menosky, a Bishop Canevin graduate and native of Pittsburgh, enters his first year as an assistant coach for Chatham Men’s Volleyball. Menosky played for Division I Saint Francis University from 2020-2023 and was twice named to the EIVA All-Academic Team as well as becoming an NEC All-Academic Team member. Menosky appeared in 82 of 83 possible matches for the Red Flash (296 sets). His standout season came in 2022, when the libero led Saint Francis in total digs (166) and digs per set (1.71), ranking fifth in the EIVA and among the top 40 players nationally. Menosky produced multiple marquee defensive performances, including two career-high 16-dig matches, a string of double-digit dig outings including a 10 dig performance against #4 Lewis, and back-to-back seasons (2022 & 2023) in which he played in every match and every set. Menosky finished his collegiate career with 349 total digs and 89 assists. He has since helped coach at multiple high school club programs in the Pittsburgh area, most recently S.K.Y. Elite Volleyball Club, where he worked to instruct multiple teams as well as provide individual skill lessons to their student-athletes.
