Hailey Poe

Coach Morgan is thrilled to announce the hiring of Hailey Poe for the assistant coach position, for the 2026-2027 season. Hailey is a developing coach with prior experience at the youth level while also achieving competitive success in triathlon. A 4-year varsity member of South Fayette High School’s swimming, cross country, and track and field programs, Hailey graduated in 2020 with multiple WPIAL swimming appearances, WPIAL medals in cross country and track, and a PIAA team championship in cross country. Pursuing triathlon at North Central College (IL), Hailey went on to win 4 consecutive individual national titles and 3 team national titles and became USA Triathlon’s inaugural recipient of THE ALEXANDER award, which recognizes an NCAA triathlete with outstanding academic achievement, athletic excellence, and exemplary character. She was also recognized as a top 30 finalist for the NCAA’s Woman of the Year award for her collegiate achievements.

Previously, Hailey coached for the Canon Mac Kraken (22-23) and Centennial Beach Mudrat (24-25) summer league swim teams. She also spent two seasons coaching with Girls on the Run and has experience writing training plans for youth, junior, and age group triathletes.

Hailey holds a B.A. in Sport Management and Ethical Leadership from North Central College and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Sports Administration from Boston College. She is passionate about developing student-athletes as holistic individuals and supporting student-athlete mental health, shaped by her past experience advocating for The Hidden Opponent and completing undergraduate research on student-athlete mental health awareness. Hailey is excited to contribute her unique experience and athletic insight to the team and to support each swimmer toward meaningful growth in and outside the pool.
