Marlo served as an Assistant Coach at Penn State New Kensington from 2023 to 2024 under Coach Mike Marsili before succeeding him as Head Coach from 2024 to 2026. Building upon the foundation established under Marsili, Marlo continued the program’s success, leading the team to a USCAA Small College World Series appearance and a third-place national finish in 2026. He now reunites with Marsili at Chatham, sharing a commitment to player development and a winning culture.

A consistent, dynamic contact hitter and former third baseman and pitcher, Marlo brings extensive experience in developing infielders and catchers at both the travel and collegiate levels. His coaching expertise also includes a strong emphasis on hitting mechanics, offensive development, and fundamental skill execution.

Central to Marlo’s coaching approach is his self-developed 3P Coaching Philosophy, built on Pace, Purpose, and Passion. The philosophy focuses on developing confident, adaptable student-athletes through a fast-paced, purposeful training environment while fostering a positive, sustainable winning culture.
