A former player and four-year letter-winner at Chatham, Dani Pais serves as the Associate Director of Athletics, Senior Women’s Administrator, and Assistant Deputy Coordinator of Title IX for Athletics at Chatham University.

Pais graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and began her career at Chatham as the Game Management Coordinator and Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach under the NCAA Ethnic and Minority Grant.

Before her promotion to Associate Athletic Director, Pais held several roles within the department, including Coordinator of the Athletic and Fitness Center (AFC), Assistant Director of the AFC, Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach, SAAC Advisor, and Assistant Athletic Director. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2015. In her current role, Pais oversees day-to-day departmental operations and provides direct leadership for the Athletic and Fitness Center, including campus recreation, intramural sports, fitness programming, and facility management. Her responsibilities also include hiring and onboarding student staff, coordinating facility schedules and rentals with campus stakeholders, supporting fundraising initiatives, managing game-day operations, and overseeing departmental budget processes.

Administratively, Pais supervises the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field programs, the swimming & diving program, and the baseball and softball programs. She serves on departmental hiring committees, leads onboarding for new employees and participates in multiple campus-wide committees, 

Pais has played a significant role in Chatham’s successful transition from a women’s college to a coeducational institution. Since her hiring, the University has added twelve men’s sports and four women’s sports, expanding its total sport offerings to 24 programs.

An active member of WeCoach, Pais also serves as an adjunct professor, teaching a first-year experience course at Chatham.

A native of Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood, Pais resides in Glenshaw, PA.
