Connor Carr-Matthews will return for his second year assisting the Chatham Baseball program in 2026-2027.
Carr-Matthews joined the Chatham Baseball staff in 2025-2026 while serving as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant. Carr-Matthews assisted for the most successful season in program history as Chatham became only the 3rd team in PAC history to eclipse the 30-win mark in a single season, received national Top 25 votes for the first time (climbing as high as #29), reaching the PAC tournament for the first time, and winning their first two PAC tournament games.
Carr-Matthews spent the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons on the Chatham roster as a graduate student. Connor recorded eight appearances out of the bullpen for the Cougars and was a member of two of the winningest teams in program history at the time.
Prior to Chatham, Connor graduated with his undergraduate degree from Wells College. As a two-year member of the Wells baseball team, Connor recorded 36 innings over 24 appearances.
Connor initially attended Cayuga Community College for two years where he was also a member of the baseball program. Â
Connor is currently pursuing graduate studies in Psychology at Chatham.
