Brian Baudinet enters his first season with Chatham in 2025-26.

Baudinet, who becomes the third head coach in program history, joins Chatham after serving as assistant coach at UMBC since 2022. 

Prior to UMBC, Baudinet was the Head Boys' Basketball Coach and Assistant Director of Admissions at Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut. In four seasons at Canterbury, he tallied a record of 87-19, including a 32-3 record in the Tri-State League, and received NEPSAC Class B Coach of the Year honors in 2018-19 and 2019-20. Baudinet led Canterbury to a NEPSAC Class B Championship in 2019-20 with a 25-2 record, the best in school history. Baudinet's Canterbury team closed out the 2019-20 season with a school-record 19 consecutive wins. Baudinet brought Canterbury to at least the semifinals of the NEPSAC Class B Playoffs each season, including three consecutive NEPSAC title games.

Baudinet was an assistant coach at Duquesne University from 2014-2017, where he assisted in recruiting, player development and strength and conditioning programs. He helped the Dukes reach 17 wins in a season for just the seventh time in a 40-season span. 

Baudinet also brings NBA affiliate experience to Chatham, having served as Assistant Coach and Video Analyst with the Tulsa 66ers, the G-League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder. In Tulsa, Baudinet created individual player development plans and coached NBA players like Andre Roberson, Reggie Williams, Dominic McGuire, Mustafa Shakur, Grant Jarrett, Ben Uzoh and Larry Owens.

Baudinet began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. where he coached from 2010-2013. He then moved on to an assistant position at American International College in Springfield, Mass. where he coached through October of 2013.

Baudinet was a four-year member of the UMass Amherst baseball program, where he was a two-time captain and earned Honorable Mention All-A10 honors during his senior season. Baudinet also holds the Atlantic 10 record for home runs in a game with four against George Washington on May 2, 2010. He graduated from UMass Amherst in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Prior to UMass, Baudinet played one season on the University of Rochester basketball team.
