GRANVILLE, OH - It was a tough end to the season for the Chatham men's (6-8) and women's (4-8) squash teams as they were defeated by Denison today.
On the men's side of things, the Cougars would fall 5-1 to Denison. The only Cougar to win their match was
Alejandro Cruz after reverse sweeping his opponent.
As for the women, the Cougars fell 6-3 to Denison. The women's wins came from
Vasundhra Vasanthan and
Sofia Pinto Combita who swept their opponents. The final win would come from Basmala Sayed Ahmed who would make a comeback to secure her victory.
The Cougars will be back in action Friday, February 27 through Sunday, March 1 when they attend the CSA Divisional Team Championships.
