PITTSBURGH, PA - It was a day of continuing for the Chatham women's squash (4-7) team as they defeated the Tartans 7-1. As for the men (6-7), they faced their first loss in two months against the Navy.
On the women's end of things, match wins came from
Clara Braga,
Sofia Pinto Combita, Basmala Sayed Ahmed, and TaNiya Nored. Braga would be the only Cougar to take her opponent to all five games as she battled to win her match 3-2.
As for the men,
Muhammad Hassaan Raza and
Alejandro Cruz would be the two standout Cougars as they challenged their opponents and took them each to four games.
The Cougars are back in action tomorrow, Sunday, February 8 when they head to Granville, OH to take on Denison at 1 PM for their final matchup of the regual season.
