PITTSBURGH, PA - It was an evening match up between the Chatham women's squash team (3-7) and the Pitt Coed Club team hosted at the Athletic and Fitness Center.
The Cougars would leave the AFC tonight joyful as they defeated the Panthers 5-3.Â
Vasundhra Vasanthan, Basmala Sayed Ahmed, and TaNiya Nored would all sweep their opponents in a 3-0 game win.Â
Clara Braga defeated her opponent 3-1 in which a few matches were taken to extra points.Â
Sofia Pinto Combita would battle back and forth with her opponent and ultimately emerge victorious in a 3-2 game win.Â
The Cougars are back in action this Saturday, February 7th at 12 PM at Steel City Squash. The women look ahead to play Carnegie Mellon University Club team while the men will battle with Navy.Â
