Squash End New York Trip with Another Split

CLINTON, NY - It was another successful day for the Chatham men's squash team (4-6) as they defeated Hamilton College (3-5). The women (0-7) were unfortunately taken down by Hamilton College (3-4) in a 7-2 defeat. 

Plenty of Cougars found their way into the win column today for the men's team as seniors Sebastian Vaca Sanchez, Muhammad Hassaan Raza, and Alejandro Cruz all swept their opponents. Seniors Agustin Carranza and Abdelrahman Sadek both won their matches 3-1, and senior Brett Poles came back in his match and won 3-2 after five games. 

On the women's side of things, senior Sofia Pinto Combita swept her opponent while fellow senior Vasundhra Vasanthan challenged her opponenet to five games and won her match 3-2. 

The Cougars are back in action Sunday, January 11th, at 12PM when they open the new year at home at Steel City Squash against Vassar.
