Swimming and Diving Tri-Match at Bethany

PITTSBURGH PA - On Saturday, the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving team traveled to Bethany for a tri-match against Bethany and Wheeling.

For the Women's team, Hannah Uhrinek was a top scorer in the tri-match, taking first place with a score of 516. Uhrinek also finished first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.47, collecting 520 points. Alayna Kercher finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:13.50, as well as second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:53.78. Carly Sagerser and Josie Underdonk were top scorers in the 1-meter 5 dive events with 139.75 and 82.50 points respectively.

On the Men's side of things, Cal Hockman was a top scorer, walking away with 475 points placing him at third overall. Hockman also finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.32. Max Rollins finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time 1:03.96.

The Men's team finished the meet defeating Bethany 83-37 but falling to Wheeling 124-37. The Women's team defeated Bethany 146-42 but also lost to Wheeling 130-85.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday, November 2 when they take on Washington and Jefferson at 1pm.
