MEADVILLE, Pa. (Jan. 13, 2024) - Cougars S&D traveled to Meadville, Pa on a chilly Saturday morning. For the Women's side, they were defeated by the Gators by the score of 110-82. Junior
Ali Cowan led the Cougar women against Allegheny with a first-place finish on both the 1m and 3m boards. Also, Freshman
Jocalyn Henry swam the first 1650 freestyle of her career, earning second place, and was a contributor to the first-place 200 freestyle relay.
The Men's S&D were defeated by the score of 76-50. Senior
Karl Gangloff continued his impressive season and paced the Cougar men against Allegheny with a season-best 500 freestyle, taking the win. He also placed a strong second in the 200 free and 100 breast. Freshman
Caleb Trainum earned three strong second-place finishes in the 200 IM, 100 fly, and 100 backstroke.
Next up for the Cougars is Senior night Friday, January 19th at the Sigo Falk Natatorium.
