PITTSBURGH, PA - November 1, 2019 - Chatham Swimming and Diving hosted Penn State Behrend this past weekend in the Sigo Falk Natatorium. Chatham came out on top on the women's side with 151 points over Behrend 130.
Junior
Mallory Marzolf swam to three individual first place finishes in the 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, and 200 medley. First-year
Emma Louie won first in 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
Carlee Shreve swam to a win in the 200 freestyle, and
Noelle Dagdagan took first in the 200 butterfly.
Faith Fannie also had a strong day in the pool, coming in first place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:27.27.
The relay team of
Emma Louie,
Paige Garase,
Charity Fannie, and
Carlee Shreve took first in the 400 freestyle with a time of 4:00.25, and
Emma Louie,
Mallory Marzolf,
Noelle Dagdagan, and Carlee Sherve placed first in the 200 medley relay at 1:58.35. The team of
Charity Fannie,
Faith Fannie,
Artalee Breegle, and
Molly Hunter came in third in the 200 medley twelve seconds after their teammates.
On the men's side, first-year
Nathan Kerchensky earned 10 points for Chatham, placing third in the 1000 and 100 freestyles and second in the 500 freestyle.
