Food, Basketball & Fun; Cougar Peer Leaders to Host Halftime Event

PITTSBURGH, PA. -- FEBRUARY 6TH, 2017 - As part of the Changing Times Steady Choices Program, the Chatham Cougar Peer Leaders are putting on a shooting challenge at halftime of the men's basketball game this Wednesday at 8 pm. The halftime event will be a shooting competition wearing special goggles to simulate the distortion of being under the influence. Appetizers will Cougar Peer Leaders will be pulling volunteers out of the stands during the first half of the game, flag down anyone in a Cougar Peer Leaders t-shirt if you want to participate. Winners will receive a gift card and a high five from Carson.

The University's Changing Times Steady Choice program, funded through the NCAA's CHOICES grant, enables the Chatham Cougar Peer Leaders to model and advocate healthy behaviors and lifestyles through peer mentoring activities surrounding the topics of alcohol and alcohol abuse, sexual assault awareness and bystander intervention.
